About the Role
Civeo Australia is seeking an experienced Assistant Village Manager to join our leadership team at various sites in Western Australia. This is a hands-on management role where you'll work directly with your teams in the field, providing exceptional leadership and guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, with experience in managing profit and loss, navigating service contracts, and ensuring remote site safety standards are met.
About You
We're looking for a skilled and experienced professional who can prioritize effectively, communicate with ease, and lead by example. You'll have a strong understanding of remote site safety standards, particularly HACCP, and be able to delegate tasks effectively. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, visitors, and guests.

Experience & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of FIFO experience as an AVM or a highly experienced Department Team Leader from a large 1000+ room site
- Outstanding leadership experience with the ability to build a strong, stable team
- Strong understanding of profit and loss, budgeting, costs controls, and rostering
- Valid manual driver's license
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate or WA Approved Manager's license
- Current National Police Clearance under 6 months old
- Able to pass a medical and drug screen
- Knowledge of rostering and time and attendance
- Able to train and develop your own team onsite
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable with data and regular reporting
- Excellent attention to detail across reporting and service delivery
- Highly developed leadership skills and ability to develop a high-performing team
- Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment
- Experience with Oracle/JDE technology, particularly Purchase Orders and reconciliation
