As a Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and monitoring all open pit mines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop short-term plans, schedules, and targets for open pit mine operations;
- Manage contractor performance to ensure efficient and safe execution of tasks;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering;
- Quarry Managers Certificate;
- Proficient using Deswik, MSO, Quickslope, and EPS software;
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
We are looking for an individual with 5+ years of experience in surface gold mining operations. Your expertise and knowledge of open pit mining practices, combined with your ability to lead and manage teams, will be essential to drive business success.
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent position offering FIFO (Fly-In/Fly-Out) arrangements from Perth, with an 8:6 roster.
