We are seeking a senior compliance leader to join our team in a strategic leadership role as General Manager APAC, Compliance. This senior position plays a pivotal role within the APAC Compliance and Conduct Risk team, responsible for leading regulatory change and compliance management across the APAC region.

This an exciting opportunity to lead the embedment of a new Line 2 compliance function in a diverse business that bridges financial services and healthcare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Compliance Management - Oversee the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, and systems to ensure effective compliance management.
  • Regulatory Change & Implementation - Lead the regulatory change function, driving the identification, assessment, and implementation of new requirements across the business.
  • Monitoring & Assurance - Lead the monitoring and assurance activity to assess compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have roughly 10 years of professional experience, and exposure to Line 1 and/or Line 2 compliance roles within APRA-regulated entities or other highly regulated environments.

The key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, law, or compliance (professional compliance accreditation highly regarded) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep practical and technical expertise in compliance including obligation management, compliance plans, regulatory change.
  • Knowledge of APRA and broader commercial regulatory environments.
