As a Youth Justice Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will work collaboratively with our extended network of care to achieve key goals and develop life skills.

The Role:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to young people in custody
  • Work closely with our team to deliver specialist programs and services that meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Foster a safe and secure environment that promotes growth and development
Key Requirements:
  • Passion and empathy for working with children and young people
  • Life experience and adaptability in managing challenging situations
  • Dedication and resilience in maintaining positivity and commitment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Case management or youth work experience
  • Qualifications in social studies, education, criminology, or allied health practices such as psychology or occupational therapy
Eligibility:
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Current First Aid Certification (HLTAID003) and CPR
  • Working With Children Card (Employee)
