Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering primary medical care to Defence members, assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty, and providing care supporting health and wellbeing pre- and post-deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing medical technical advice to senior officers
  • Delivering primary medical care to Defence members
  • Assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty
  • Providing care supporting health and wellbeing pre- and post-deployments

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years
  • Recent CPD activities in accordance with AHPRA
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
