Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist to join our high-performing team based in South Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing injured or ill workers to determine the best way to help them get back to work.
  • Visiting workplaces to understand what challenges an injured or ill worker may face and educating them on how to overcome them.
  • Case managing complex injuries and liaising with treating doctors and health professionals to help an injured or ill worker recover and get back to work.
  • Providing clinical opinions and justification through report writing.
  • Activity of daily living assessments.
Injury Prevention Services:
  • Job dictionary assessments to outline the essential duties, physical demands, and cognitive requirements of a specific job.
  • Manual task risk assessments.
  • Interactive manual handling training and stretching and warm up programs.
  • Workplace-based, home-based and vehicle-based ergonomic assessments.
  • Pre-employment assessments including drug & alcohol, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
