As a Public Relations Manager at Vanguard, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's reputation and increasing awareness of our brand among retail investors and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers across the organization and in the industry.
  • Drive the execution of all phases of the communications process, including conception, implementation, and measurement.
  • Resolves conflicts over content or communication channel recommendations by acting as a trusted advisor to influence, coach, and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Improves end-to-end communication processes by applying current and evolving industry standards, while complying with the Vanguard brand.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (minimum seven years) in public relations roles within financial services and related fields is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and expand relationships with journalists, ability to generate standout media coverage and pitch stories in consumer media.
  • Exceptional research skills and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex policy issues to diverse audiences.
  • Extensive understanding of social, political and regulatory developments that are of relevance to our firm, our clients and our staff.
