We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide quality care to our patients in Wollongong, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the growth and development of our practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be responsible for providing a range of services, including immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, and assisting with care plans and shared health summaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients, including immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, and ECGs.
  • Assist with care plans and shared health summaries.
  • Implement and practice infection control.
  • Assist with reception and practice management duties.
Requirements
  • Current Police Check.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Current Working with Children clearance.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Immunisation Record.
  • Driving licence or photo ID.
  • Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Essential Qualifications
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Registration in Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current professional indemnity insurance.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Minimum of one-year nursing experience, preferably in a community-based role.
  • Experience with specific social groups serviced by practice, such as adolescents, aged care, migrant or refuge groups, Aboriginals and Torres Straight islanders, etc.
