Accounting and Bookkeeping Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Norwest. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll management, bank and credit card reconciliations, and preparation and lodgement of BAS & IAS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Payroll management and STP reporting
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Monthly Management Accounts & Cash Flows
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS & IAS
  • Reconcile GST, PAYG accounts in Balance Sheet
  • Process purchase and sale of assets
  • Process HP payments and interest components
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications with experience working within a similar accounting environment
  • Knowledge of MYOB, XERO and other accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and take on a proactive approach to the work
  • A good sense of humour
  • The desire to join an organisation offering longevity & stability
