Forensic Behavioural Analyst Role:
">- The Queensland Police Service requires a Forensic Behavioural Analyst to assess and manage risk from violent criminality and violent extremism.
As a consultant, you will work collaboratively with peers, contribute value to multidisciplinary capabilities, and have access to peer review and continuing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing assessments to inform interventions and manage individuals who may pose a risk to the community.
- Offering evidence-based advice to support security intelligence and investigative operations.
- Fostering a multi-disciplinary approach through developing and maintaining inter-disciplinary and inter-agency networks and liaison.
- Contributing to education and training of stakeholders in understanding forensic behavioural theories and practices.
- Undertaking continuous clinical education and training as part of an ongoing individual professional development plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Possession of postgraduate qualifications in the relevant area.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Vulnerability Level 1 (NVL1) security classification.
- Australian Citizenship is required for this position.
- Possession of a current C-class driver's licence.
- Completion of a psychometric assessment prior to appointment.
