Nurse Advocate

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled care professional to join our team at Leigh Place Aged Care. Our boutique village style not-for-profit facility is located in Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia.

Our person-centred approach focuses on maximising the quality of life for each resident, based on their individual needs, preferences, identity, culture, and diversity.

This role will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing holistic care and support to residents with complex needs;
• Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans;
• Leading and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality care and service delivery;
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant authorities as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• AHPRA Registration with Aged Care experience;
• Previous experience and understanding of Dementia Support;
• Commitment to the provision of quality care, best practice, and continuous improvement;
• Able to work without direct supervision and lead the floor;
• Display initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
