About the Role
The Orchard Talent Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Facility Manager to join our team in NSW/ACT. As a key leadership role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical and operational support, oversight of care and service delivery to residents living across our various facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the profile of our organisation in the local area by building relationships with businesses and community groups, and other managers in the area.
- Provide high-level operational and clinical support of the designated homes within your remit.
- Support and enable the development of the facility management team. Identify opportunities for growth and be aware of organisational opportunities, education, and resources available to support them.
- Support Facility Management in their preparation for accreditation, unannounced Commission visits and any other staff shortage circumstances.
About You
We are seeking an established leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services within the Aged Care sector. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- Undergraduate qualification in Human Services, Nursing, Health Service Management, Business, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum 5 years operational or administrative management experience with demonstrated ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team.
- Diversity of thought and experience within health care, aged care, or other customer-focused sectors (e.g. hospitality).
- Sound financial acumen with experience performing effectively against operational budgets, including labour costs.
- Experience managing operational compliance with complex regulatory requirements with the ability to interpret the regulatory environment as required.
