Head of Fundraising and Communications

As the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising and communications strategy to drive growth and engagement across all income streams. Reporting to the CEO, you will serve as an integral member of the Senior Management Team, providing leadership, vision, and strategic direction for your respective portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a long-term fundraising and communications strategy to ensure sustainable growth across all income streams.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive fundraising plan, including philanthropy, trusts, major donors, individual giving, corporate partnerships, bequests, events, appeals, and community fundraising.
- Manage and execute a range of fundraising activities, including events, appeals, and campaigns, to drive engagement and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and partners, to build trust and support for the organization.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy, including marketing, branding, and public relations.
- Manage and execute a range of communications activities, including social media, email marketing, and media relations, to build awareness and engagement.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's financial situation, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of fundraising and communications professionals, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
