We are seeking casual staff to work during the busy Summer period at Ballina Airport, where we will implement their brand-new boom gate parking system.

This role is suitable for individuals who:

  • Have technical expertise
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Can commit to working 25+ hours per week
  • Are physically fit and willing to work outdoors
  • Deliver meticulous work

The position requires:

  • Weekend and evening availability
  • A valid driver's license and car ownership
  • Flexibility to work during Christmas (24-26 December) and New Year's (30-31 December and 1 January)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring baggage trollies are available in arrivals
  • Guiding drivers in drop-off and pick-up areas
  • Operating boom gates and capturing vehicle details
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the car park and reporting bin issues to airport staff
  • Assisting the public in finding suitable parking spots and helping users of ground transport find parking for their vehicles
  • Notifying airport staff of any faulty equipment
