Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Community Rehabilitation Specialist. The successful candidate will provide mobile and clinic therapy services to individuals and groups, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mobile and clinic therapy services to individuals and groups, including neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and amputee rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating Pilates-based interventions and SMART goal-oriented approaches.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research.
- Completion of a Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a physiotherapist in a community setting.
- Current Australian driver's license and third-party insurance.
- Registration with relevant bodies and current immunization for Covid and flu vaccination.
- Valid National Police Check and DCSI screening checks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Sound knowledge base of medical terminology and high level of English literacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and independently.
- Competitive salary range: $85,000+ FTE (negotiable dependent on experience and skills).
