We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to supervise and coordinate care to residents across the home, ensuring individual needs, wishes and goals are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic and person-centred care to all residents, including social and emotional support.
- Support the coordination of care needs, including medication management, nutrition and hydration, and pressure care management.
- Lead/supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
- Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and policies.
- Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) OR Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) OR Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
- A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
- An effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and to learn new skills as required.
- A current National police check.
- A working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
