Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering impactful data analytics and visualisations that drive better outcomes across Corrective Services NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain dashboards to track key activities and initiatives, while supporting the CRES Tableau Server environment.
  • Deliver data transformation, analysis, and visualisation using tools like Tableau to support performance measurement and service improvement.
  • Validate data quality, document methodologies, and support the maintenance of the CRES Tableau Server for optimal performance.
  • Provide expert advice on data definitions, analytics, and reporting to strengthen business cases and knowledge management.
  • Prepare clear written communications, briefs, and technical documents, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support informed decision-making.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Science, Actuary, Data Analytics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. In addition, they must be able to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports, and provide expert advice on data definitions, analytics, and reporting.
