
Senior Patient Care Specialist

We seek an experienced and skilled individual to provide high-quality patient care as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries, as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude.
This role involves providing comprehensive care through:
- Immunisations and injections
- Triage
- Wound management
- Chronic disease management
- ECGs
- Explaining procedures to patients, providing support and reassurance
- Assisting with care plans and shared health summaries
- Assisting with telehealth consultations
- Supporting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentation
- Daily coordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment
- Implementing and practicing infection control
- Providing administrative support
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Working experience in an accredited General Practice environment
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
- Professionalism and a sense of urgency
- Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management skills
- Use of Best Practice programs preferred
- Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments
