Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Newcomer Integration Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting newly arrived individuals and families to settle and thrive in their new community.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to help our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. This will involve conducting comprehensive intake assessments, developing personalized plans, and facilitating access to essential services and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culturally Responsive Case Work: Provide culturally sensitive and responsive case work services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Intake Assessments: Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and goals.
  • Service Coordination: Facilitate access to essential services and resources, including employment, education, and healthcare.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in Community and Human Services, Social Work, or a relevant discipline is essential.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in delivering culturally responsive case work services, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the multicultural sector, including government policies and programs, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
