Property Portfolio LeaderWe are seeking a Property Portfolio Leader to oversee the management of our extensive property portfolio across Australia. This is a multifaceted role that involves strategic decision-making, negotiation of commercial leases, and identification of opportunities to enhance or unlock value within the portfolio.Key responsibilities include:
  • Negotiating commercial lease outcomes to meet target benchmarks
  • Managing the portfolio cost base and providing timely reporting and accurate forecasting
  • Identifying strategic opportunities within the Property portfolio and leading project(s) from seeking approval to execution
  • Conducting property acquisitions and portfolio assessments to consolidate or promote efficiencies across multiple sites
  • Directing and implementing lease-compliant Facilities Management across the portfolio
  • Managing Build-to-suit developments and major facility alterations
  • Developing positive relationships with commercial partners, landlords, tenants, and other parties involved in Property operations
Requirements include:
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience working in Property or Asset Management, focused on industrial or commercial properties
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Management, Business, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Proven ability to manage a large portfolio of properties
  • Strong understanding of building codes and commercial law
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, delivering effective communication at all levels
  • The ability to focus on detail or step back to assess opportunity from a strategic point of view
