Job Title: Data Scientists

The Australian Government is seeking recent university graduates to join the Graduate Program in the field of data science.

The program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to work across various departments and agencies, utilizing their skills and knowledge to drive business decision-making and strategic planning.

Data scientists will have access to over 35 different departments and agencies, allowing them to gain experience and build a strong professional network.

This role requires individuals with a strong quantitative component in their academic background. This could be in fields such as data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, actuarial studies, physics, engineering, economics, or econometrics.

To be eligible, applicants must be an Australian citizen at the time of application and hold a Bachelor degree or higher equivalent by December 31st, 2026. They must also have completed their most recent qualification between January 1st, 2022, and December 31st, 2026.

Positions are available in multiple locations across Australia, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, and Townsville.
