Academic in Data Science

We are seeking a highly skilled educator with expertise in teaching and research across Data Science. You will design and deliver high-quality learning experiences that reflect contemporary theory and practice, and contribute to the development of scholarly research and/or professional activities.
About You- You possess a tertiary qualification and/or doctoral qualification in Data Science or a closely related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- You have demonstrated ability to undertake research that contributes to our institution's research strengths and strategic directions in Data Science.
- You have demonstrated ability or potential in teaching, including design and preparation of teaching activities and resources in Data Science.
- You will report to a Professorial Lead and be responsible for developing, delivering, and coordinating courses within our STEM undergraduate, Honours, and postgraduate programs.
- You will make independent and team-based contributions to support our institution's teaching and research outcomes in the Data Science discipline.
- A strong understanding of and experience in various contemporary teaching methodologies for exceptional curriculum delivery, including digital techniques where appropriate.
- Strong written and oral communication skills demonstrated through research reports, research publications, or educational materials, and presentations at conferences, committees, seminars, or teaching.
