We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading day-to-day operational activities, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of products. They will also be expected to manage administrative and reporting requirements for the warehouse distribution team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all inbound and outbound activities on the floor.
  • Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day staff activities and coordinate process and system efficiencies & improvements.
  • Leading and being part of all EHS initiatives in the warehouse.
  • Working closely with the Supply Chain team and other key stakeholders in the business, to maintain high customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Store Person experience within an engineering or manufacturing business.
  • Experience leading a team with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • A High reach forklift license and experience.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge using Microsoft office software & working experience within ERP systems.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box and come up with safe and innovative solutions to problems and determination to solve them.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Genuine commitment to customer service, quality, health & safety issues.
