Early Childhood Educator Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our centre in a unique role. Our centre offers children an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow through gentle guidance from inspired and committed professionals.

Our centre delivers a genuinely holistic program which enriches children's lives through education and play. We support our educators with professional development training, quality materials and resources, and a beautiful natural outdoor area.

The ideal candidate will be able to uphold an ethos of genuine respect and loving guidance for children at all times, possess working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF), and have experience in Montessori or other holistic pedagogy.

As an educator, you will have the opportunity to work within our calm and happy classroom environment, foster a rich and creative outdoor program based in nature, culture, art, music and mindfulness, and lead self and others.

We aim to empower every child to explore, learn and thrive through achievement and self-expression within a gentle, caring and natural environment. We value our educators incorporating their personal interests and skills within our program, creating rich and diverse learning experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma and/or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Blue Card
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Appropriate visa to work in Australia
