Safety Assurance Expert

As a Safety Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of safety within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead operational and SMS audits in accordance with our established audit program.
You will support the safety assurance team in ensuring regulatory compliance and carry out high-value operational safety investigations as required. Through effective application of our Safety Management System (SMS), you will identify potential and actual hazards to operations and collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risks to the lowest practicable level.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct operational and SMS audits
- Support regulatory compliance
- Carry out operational safety investigations
- Identify and mitigate hazards
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a safety or safety audit/assurance role
- Previous experience in the aviation industry or a similar safety-critical industry
- Formal qualifications or equivalent experience in Safety Management Systems, Auditing, Risk Management, Investigation
