We're seeking a Safety Assurance Manager to join us on a 6-month contract at our Brisbane Head Office.
Reporting to the Head of Safety, you'll play a key role in overseeing our Safety Management System, driving compliance, and embedding a strong safety culture across the business.Responsibilities Build strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and partners to enhance safety performance and culture.Lead safety assurance initiatives, including audits, investigations, risk reviews, and continuous improvement projects.Provide expertise in SMS tools, safety training, change management, and compliance with CASA and ICAO standards.Coach leaders and team members to strengthen risk awareness, safety behaviours, and organisational learning.Analyse, report, and monitor safety occurrences, ensuring effective risk controls and timely follow-up actions.Deliver clear communication, reports, and presentations that drive safety engagement and align with Alliance values.Who we are looking for Accredited Aviation Lead Auditor and Safety Investigator (essential)Solid aviation background with tertiary qualifications or equivalent experienceProven success in safety investigations, audits, and risk managementStrong communicator with the ability to coach and influence leadersSound knowledge of Civil Aviation regulations, WH&S and Environmental standardsTrack record of driving change, managing projects, and delivering resultsWhat's in it for me?
