About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading advisory firm as a Senior Consultant, Forensic Accountant. You will be part of a growing team providing forensic and litigation services to meet clients' most important needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing staff and reviewing their work to ensure high-quality results
- Performing forensic financial analyses and building models
- Discussing problems with senior managers and directors, and acting on their advice
- Determining engagement timelines and instructing assistants in time management methods
- Managing day-to-day project activities and assigning responsibilities to team members
- Carrying out quantification of claims for insurers, loss adjusters, lawyers, and others
- Analysing data and financial information and applying a forensic approach to the work
- Preparing clear, concise reports that can be understood by non-accountants
- Being flexible and responsive to client needs, including working long days and tight deadlines
- Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
- Working collaboratively with other team members
- Participating in business development efforts, including developing presentations and proposals
- Representing the firm at business and community functions to maintain existing client relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting or related experience
- Exam qualified with post-qualification experience as CA or ACA
- Record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence
- Experience in forensic accounting and litigation support is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work non-traditional business hours if required
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines
- Skilled at building relationships with others
- Fluency in English is required
