Role Summary
We are seeking a medical professional to conduct pre-employment occupational suitability examinations for defence force candidates. This role involves working with a team of doctors to deliver high-quality healthcare assessments.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in shaping the future of Australia's defence force. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations and providing expert advice to support recruitment decisions.
You will work closely with a dedicated bookings team and nurses and screeners to ensure a smooth day. Our clinic is a close-knit team of 15 employees, working in a large and spacious facility with well-equipped consult and screener rooms.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pre-employment occupational suitability examinations for defence force candidates
- Work with a team of doctors to deliver high-quality healthcare assessments
- Collaborate with a dedicated bookings team and nurses and screeners
- Australian Citizenship
- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum)
- Post Graduate experience
