Role Summary

A highly experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic is required to lead our Broken Hill Depot team, ensuring high-quality maintenance of our fleet of modern buses. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled and unscheduled servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their leadership skills while working in a dynamic environment. You will have the autonomy to manage your workload and provide guidance to junior staff members.

About the Role

  • Manage and coordinate heavy vehicle maintenance activities at the Broken Hill Depot.
  • Liaise with depot management to ensure effective use of resources and meet service standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
