Estimator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to play a critical role in our company's continued growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and delivering accurate budgets, quotes, and cost estimates for insurance claims across residential and commercial damaged properties.

This integral role involves overseeing the preparation and submission of causation reports, quotations, budget estimates, and building repair scopes, while collaborating with our Department Manager and direct/EOL teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of both construction and insurance industries, as well as strong client relationship management skills.

  • Conduct site assessments to determine cause of damage, scope of works, and costings
  • Compile and deliver detailed scope of works
  • Compile and deliver accurate budget breakdowns
  • Complete accurate roof inspections utilising telescopic poles
  • Liaise with contractors/suppliers to assist with quote requests and repair methodology
  • Determine policy coverage in accordance with client agreements
  • Write scope of works and associated reports to KPI deadline
  • Liaise with client, customer, and Claims Coordinators with any SOW or report related queries
  • Maintain awareness of SLA (service level agreement) and KPIs

  • Software Knowledge: Crunchworks is highly desirable
