Job Title: Decorative Finisher
About the Role:We are seeking skilled and experienced craftsmen to fill a painter and decorator position. As a painter and decorator, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying finishes, and performing various tasks related to painting, redecoration, and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Preparing surfaces as required for application of decorative products.
- Applying paint or other materials using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Wallpapering, measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper or fabric to walls.
- Assembling and erecting scaffolding to ensure safe access to work areas.
- Liaising with other trades and ordering necessary materials and equipment.
- Planning and organizing work according to priorities and schedules.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Developing business relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Formal qualifications in painting and decorating.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated experience (or) 3 years of demonstrated experience.
- Strong understanding of painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to work efficiently and unsupervised.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
