Medical Support Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Medical Support Specialist. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in medical terminology, specimen processing, and data entry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Specimen registration and processing;
  • Pre-analytical preparation and processing, including centrifuging and aliquoting of specimens;
  • Packing samples for transport, batching and dispatching;
  • Data entry;
  • Answering phone calls and assisting callers; and
  • Providing administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

  • An enthusiastic attitude and employment history showing initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work in a busy environment;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, specimen processing, and data entry experience;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new systems and processes.
