Accounts Payable Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead our accounts payable and billing team in Parramatta.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of all invoices, scanning, and billing in accordance with business processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who is eager to learn, attentive to detail, and keen on evolving the accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Managing and motivating a team of 7 involved in Accounts Payable Investigations, Docket scanning and completions.
  • Invoice Processing: Overseeing Invoice entry, processing, and verification of invoices managed by the business services centre in the UK.
  • National Billing Scheduling: Managing national billing scheduling.
  • Vendor Reconciliation: Reconciliation of vendor ledgers and vendor cards.
  • Reporting: Delivering a high standard of reporting relating to Accounts Payable, Scanning, and Billing.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, National Accounts payable policies, and associated strategies.
  • Customer Service: Delivering high-quality Customer Service to all internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A built a solid career within Accounts Payable and a strong track record within the building and allied industry.
  • Succesfully built and managed teams that have continuously evolved to meet demanding business requirements.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
  • A Diploma/degree qualification in accounting or related discipline.
