About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team based out of our Lytton, QLD office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project support and assistance, preparing documentation, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing project support and assistance through the ownership and delivery of defined projects with best practice, client standards, and agreed outcomes and business benefits.
  • Preparing documentation, including project plans, Gantt charts, and specifications for minor projects.
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
  • Assisting to coordinate all project elements, including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, supplies, and project management administration.
  • Providing timely and efficient coordination and dissemination of project material and project support by undertaking administrative project tasks, including managing and maintaining project briefs, project scheduling, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring of projects.
  • Interacting daily with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and other project personnel, providing assistance and technical support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Asset Remediation, Civil Construction, Infrastructure, or Defense environment.
  • Relevant degree in Engineering.
  • Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances, and application processes, being highly desirable.
  • NACE 1 or 2 certified, highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).
  • Ability to work to project deadlines, budgets, and team-oriented.
