Assistant Project Manager

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join their Project Management team, supporting the delivery of complex projects.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Coordinating project budgets and advising on options to maintain budget control
  • Leading project meetings with clients and consultants to drive project progress
  • Managing internal project administration, including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management, and contract risk
  • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to enhance their professional development

Key qualifications include:

  • A recognized degree qualification in a technical field, such as Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Architecture
  • 3+ years of project management experience delivering complex and technical projects
  • Advanced Microsoft skills and Primavera skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong report and bid writing skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
  • Ability to track and manage the status of multiple project activities
  • Ability to follow up outstanding actions and escalate items for resolution
  • Understanding of the design process
  • Organized and effective in the provision of support services to the wider team
