Job Overview:

You will be joining a central team that drives the delivery of infrastructure platform solutions across our organisation.

Your role will involve leveraging your infrastructure platform architecture, design, industry knowledge, and best practice to provide end-to-end delivery across strategic and tactical initiatives.

Solutions will cover a full spectrum of technologies within our eco-system, including data centre, cloud (Azure), SaaS providers, other third-party integrators, and workplace technologies.

As an Infrastructure Solutions Specialist, you will be the key link between solution development and infrastructure platforms required to support them.

You will work closely with a broad set of stakeholders, including Solution Architects, Development Leads, Platform Managers, Test Managers, Operations Leads, and Vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with functional teams to bring an integration lens throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure delivery.
  2. Produce and obtain sign-off of Infrastructure Designs.
  3. Develop, agree, and execute Infrastructure Delivery Plans.
  4. Ensure execution of plans takes into account integration scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, infrastructure strategies and roadmaps, risks & compliance, security requirements, resource requirements, finances, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  5. Document plans and ensure associated tracking and reporting are in line with our standards.
  6. Work closely with our technology staff and third-party vendors to drive platform delivery.
  7. Coordinate with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects to ensure new services align to roadmaps and understand the impact on our information architecture.
  8. Ensure early engagement with Operations (internal & 3rd parties) to facilitate operational transition.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ years IT experience, predominantly in Infrastructure Technology.
  • 5+ years designing and delivering Enterprise Infrastructure solutions.
  • Broad enterprise infrastructure technology background, including on-premise and cloud.
  • Infrastructure design across on-premise, private and public cloud.
  • Strong delivery/project management skills and experience.
  • Strong engagement and communication skills and experience.
  • Proven capability in delivering high-quality documentation.
  • Experience working in Finance Services Industry (desirable).
  • Experience in acquisition/transformation programs (desirable).
