Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Refine the Digital Learning Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to create a comprehensive plan for integrating technology into our curriculum.
  • Promote Innovative Pedagogies: Work closely with department heads to encourage the adoption of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Curriculum Development: Partner with teachers to design and implement curriculum that effectively integrates technology into the learning process.
  • Teacher Support and Development: Provide guidance and support to teachers in the effective use of technology in the classroom.
  • Student Notebook Programme: Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of our student notebook programme.
  • IT Initiatives: Lead the promotion and sharing of IT achievements and initiatives across the school.
  • Software Audit: Conduct an annual software audit for the booklist.
  • Online Resources: Maintain a strong awareness of online resources for teaching and learning.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic initiatives through the Head of Department Team.
  • Meetings and Collaboration: Attend meetings as required and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
  • A current VIT registration.
  • Additional teaching methods that the school can utilise.
  • A strong understanding of technology integration in education.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to child safety and protection.
