Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Labourer with asphalt experience to join our team at a leading construction materials company in Cairns.
About the Role
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt on roadways and other surfaces. This may include operating Skid Steers, HR vehicles, preparing surfaces, and labour-intensive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt on roadways and other surfaces
- Operate Skid Steers and HR vehicles as required
- Prepare surfaces for asphalt work
- Perform labour-intensive tasks as required
Requirements
- White Card
- Absolute commitment to reliability
- Experience working with asphalt
- MR/HR Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
- Roller or Skid Steer ticket (highly regarded)
- Available for night shift (mandatory)
- Minimum 'C' class Licence
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Provide a current National Police Clearance
- Safety competency
