About the Role

As a skilled leader, you will spearhead our major project in Perth, working on a FIFO schedule with 3 weeks on-site and 1 week off. This role demands strategic thinking, effective collaboration, and hands-on management to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a Concrete team to deliver safe, timely, and top-notch services.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives across people and processes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal units.
  • Process production costs and manage raw materials effectively.
  • Develop team members to achieve industry-leading service standards with zero harm.
  • Manage the concrete team remotely, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Prepare weekly forecasts and analyze financial reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Plan works to meet tight deadlines and adjust plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor job progress, contractual requirements, and client reporting as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on safety and team development.
  • Practical knowledge of OH&S and environmental legislation.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
  • Experience in project and operations management.
  • Understanding of Concrete batch plants, processes, and quality standards.
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze reports.
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
