Daily Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to provide exceptional customer support for Industrial Application projects, particularly within the Marine sector. This role involves assisting our clients with the maintenance and service of motors, automation, propulsion systems, and the electrical distribution and transmission systems on vessels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking ownership of service delivery and ensuring customer support across Australia.
  • Facilitating customer satisfaction through timely resolution of service inquiries.
  • Supporting the Siemens Energy Marine customer assistance helpdesk (including email and phone support, with on-call duties required).
  • Conducting on-site operations safely, including job hazard assessments and safety risk evaluations.
  • Collaborating effectively with sales and project execution teams during bid preparation, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Completing administrative tasks accurately, such as time sheets and expense reports.
Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Marine industry (preferred) with a background in Electrical and/or Automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise and years of experience in service delivery.
  • Electrical/Mechanical trade certification (preferred).
  • Eligibility to obtain Defence security clearance (NV1).
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
