Kinship Case Contracting and Family Support Specialist

The Kinship Care First Supports Programme aims to provide support to children in statutory kinship care placements where Child Protection is involved, and the placement is expected to last more than 3 months.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide recommendations to Child Protection about the suitability of kinship care placements.
- IDentify risk factors, strengths, and weaknesses of the placement and determine the child's individual needs.
- Support children to settle within the placement and assist kinship carers in responding to the child's safety, stability, and developmental needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent assessment and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
