Seeking a skilled educator for a primary school teaching position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering effective education to students in a bilingual environment.

The role involves working with children aged 5-11, providing engaging lessons and promoting a positive learning atmosphere. A high level of proficiency in English and German is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:

  • A recognized teaching qualification for primary education
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a primary homeroom teacher
  • Native-level German language skills, with excellent English language skills
  • A documented history of professional development in areas such as stage-based teaching, wellbeing, and collaboration
  • NESA teacher accreditation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
  • Working with Children Check Clearance

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons, both teaching and non-teaching duties
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities and courses
  • Foster strong relationships between parents, the community, and the school
  • Promote unity among staff members
  • Support co-curricular activities and special events
  • Plan effectively for deep learning using the curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student performance
  • Communicate effectively with parents through interviews and written reports
  • Address individual student needs
  • Supervise classes of absent teachers when required
  • Maintain a healthy learning environment through positive guidance of student behavior
  • Attend Parent-Teacher Interviews and Information Evenings
