Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Conservation Specialist to restore and maintain our natural landscapes.

  • Enhance and protect valuable environmental assets through hands-on restoration and conservation work.
  • Maintain parks and open spaces, fostering positive relationships with the local community.
  • Collaborate with Council Conservation Rangers in delivering key conservation objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for environmental conservation and natural resource management.
  • Previous experience in conservation reserves, including weed control, revegetation, and landscape maintenance.
  • A trade qualification in Natural Resource Management, Conservation, or relevant hands-on experience in conservation practices.
  • Knowledge of best practices in weed management and the ability to identify priority species.
  • A strong awareness of Occupational Health and Safety, especially in outdoor work environments.
  • A team-focused attitude with the ability to collaborate with our Conservation Team.
  • A current full Victorian drivers licence.
