Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our Sterilisation Team at Wollongong Private Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all loaned Reusable Medical Devices, including ensuring the care, handling, and reprocessing of these devices.

This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and attention to detail to ensure seamless sterilising processes.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the peri-op team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Requirements
  • Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years' experience working in a Sterilising Unit.
  • Strong interest in mentoring and developing staff.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and process improvement orientation.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
