Role Overview

This is a highly specialized position in cancer clinical trials. As a key member of our busy academic medical oncology unit, you will provide high-quality care to patients enrolled on phase I, phase II and phase III cancer clinical trials.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients on phase I, phase II and phase III cancer clinical trials.
  • Engage in translational research with opportunities for publishing manuscripts and attending national and international conferences.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, including case presentations and journal article reviews.
  • Contribute to the administration tasks regarding collection and presentation of metrics for the Clinical Trials Unit.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications (MBBS or equivalent).
  • RACP trainee or junior consultant of relevant Medical Oncology College.
  • Working with Children's Certificate.
  • Membership with RACP.
  • Broad ranging experience in oncology medicine.
  • Clinical experience in the management of Solid organ tumours is required.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Australian working rights.
