Loader Operator Role Summary

This is a permanent position that involves conducting pre-start inspections, washing down work areas, bogging production and development areas, and operating a loader in manual and remote modes.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year of experience operating a Caterpillar 2900 Loader.

About the Job
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintaining accurate records of activities in accordance with established standards.
  • Communicating effectively with Jumbo Operators and other members of the Underground operation.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily shift plans and scheduled targets.
Responsibilities

The Loader Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring all aspects of operations are carried out in accordance with Company and Legislative standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Providing excellent communication skills and working collaboratively as part of a team.
