Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a casual position working in a fast-paced cafe environment. As a Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating point of sale systems, handling cash and EFTPOS transactions, and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Operate point of sale systems efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A First Aid Certificate from a nationally recognized training provider.
  • A current Working with Vulnerable Peoples Check, valid in your state.
  • Approachability and great communication skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience.
  • The ability to clean at a high standard.
