We are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our Mobile Maintenance team at George Fisher Mine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine scheduled maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and breakdown repairs.
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a focus on planned maintenance and site safety standards.
- Perform light fleet maintenance work, as well as breakdown repairs on a variety of assets, including Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Holden, and Isuzu vehicles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement opportunities and assist in achieving budgeted development and production KPIs.
- Mentor apprentices and participate in project work as required.
- Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics.
- Current manual driver's license.
- Experience in repairing mobile equipment and a positive attitude towards safety standards.
- High risk work license, Working at Heights, and Confined Space certifications.
- Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills, with a flexible approach and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and good communication skills.
