Project Delivery Expert

This role involves overseeing and executing projects from start to finish, including site inspections, technical assessments, capital expenditures, lifecycle forecasting, asset repositioning, concept & detailed building services design, and overall project management.

The focus is on existing buildings, with large-scale base building and infrastructure upgrades and refurbishments, ranging from chiller replacements, switch room & lighting upgrades to full base building updates.

Clients are typically within corporate real estate, finance, and government, and are usually asset owners, landlords, or facility managers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of project execution and delivery.
  • Review and approve designs and engineering.
  • Develop and maintain cost plans, programs, and meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with clients on project matters.
  • Manage tender processes and evaluations.
  • Chair project coordination group meetings.
  • Act as the project subject matter expert.
  • Coordinate with external parties.
  • Submit project status reports.
  • Attend sites and monitor progress.
  • Manage testing and commissioning.
Requirements:
  • Building consultancy experience in building services (project management and/or consultancy) with at least 10 years' experience.
  • A high-level understanding of the project life cycle.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with clients.
  • A degree qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • An outgoing personality with management experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
