About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Management Support Specialist to join our team in Perth. This 13-month internship will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and knowledge while working full-time, commencing January 2025.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Apprentice Program Management (APM) team and APAC Training Manager, focusing on internal and external stakeholder interactions within the operational environment of Cummins Asia Pacific and South Pacific Region Apprentice Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process for the South Pacific Apprentice Program, ensuring efficient and effective candidate sourcing and evaluation.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, TAFE organisations, and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and facilitate program success.
  • Support the planning and delivery of apprenticeship promotion events, contributing to the enhancement of program visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the South Pacific branch network to develop and implement work experience programs, fostering opportunities for growth and development.
  • Contribute to strategies aimed at improving gender and cultural diversity in apprentice recruitment, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality, ensuring the protection of sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, enabling you to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy and understanding of MS Office, facilitating efficient task completion and data management.
  • Effective time management skills, allowing you to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

What We Offer

This is a 13-month, full-time or part-time paid internship, offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 AUD per annum, depending on location and qualifications. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
